All your Droids Are Belong to Us.  Yes that’s right, stand back R2D2, the Verizon Wireless Droid Incredible is officially in the mix with Android 2.2.  Early this morning the OTA update began hitting Verizon handsets across the U.S. just minutes after the carrier made the news official on their Twitter page.  If you are unsure whether you have received the update, simply look for the “Install Now” notification in the status menu and have at it.  For all of you Droid X owners out there, a unofficial 2.2 Froyo update was leaked late last week if you are interested in hanging with the cool kids – Droid Incredible and EVO 4G.  If you prefer to play it safe, sit back, relax and grab yourself a snickers, this could take a while.
