Let’s face it, part of hyping up a 3D-capable game console involves leaking some screenshots of your upcoming release library. This is exactly what Nintendo did when they leaked several screenshots of the upcoming Street Fighter IV release for the 3DS yesterday. Of course the 3D element of the 3DS cannot be experience from screenshots alone, so you’ll need to use a little bit of your imagination for the full effect. Until we have the 3DS and the game in our hands to test we can’t really comment on how well the game has been ported from next-gen consoles, but the screenshots look promising. Based on the artwork from these stills it looks like Capcom and Nintendo have put in the hard work to make that “perfect port” a reality. The real question is what type of graphical compromised will be made to the live action in order to deliver the 3D experience.
